Louisiana 4-H Camp Counselor Training is a self-directed course designed for Teen Counselors that attend overnight camps based in Louisiana. The LSU AgCenter 4-H program takes seriously its responsibility of providing a safe, positive environment for youth. Teen leaders play a critical role in supporting educational experiences that develop life skills and character traits. They serve as positive role models and provided invaluable assistance to youth and adults in planning, implementing and evaluation of educational experiences. This training will consist of multiple lessons that will aid counselors in creating a safe and educational environment at all of our camping opportunities.
